MILLBROOK BARN DUTCHESS COUNTY NEW YORK

Tucked within a private farm in Millbrook, this intimate barn was envisioned as both a world-class wine cellar and a gathering space for hunting weekends and candlelit tastings. The brief called for authenticity at every turn—materials that felt storied, elemental, and deeply rooted in tradition.

Rich leather sofas and classic club chairs anchor the room in warmth and comfort, their patina designed to deepen beautifully over time. Tables and lighting crafted from genuine kudu horns introduce sculptural drama, while mirrors framed in porcupine quills add an unexpected artisanal edge. Every surface was selected for its honesty—natural wood grain, timeworn metals, and textures that invite touch.

The result is immersive and transportive. While firmly grounded in the pastoral beauty of Dutchess County, the space evokes the romance of a far-flung lodge—an environment where guests linger over rare vintages, stories unfold beside a crackling fire, and evenings stretch effortlessly into the night.

Layered, tactile, and unapologetically distinctive, this barn is less a cellar and more a destination—crafted for conviviality, ceremony, and the art of gathering well.
